Baker's Ratio works without accounts, advertising profiles or selling data. This page explains what the site stores locally and which anonymous measurements help improve it.

What stays in your browser
Your unit choice and bake journal are stored locally on your device. Baker's Ratio does not receive their contents. You can export, import or delete journal data yourself.
If you install the website as an app, the browser stores public pages and assets for offline use. You can remove this data through your browser or app settings.
Anonymous usage and performance statistics
Baker's Ratio uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand page-view counts, broad referral sources, country, device and browser type, and technical performance.
These measurements use no cookies and do not provide Baker's Ratio with names, email addresses or IP addresses. Vercel's daily visitor hash expires after 24 hours. Enabling Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control prevents these scripts from loading.
Hosting and service provider
The website and anonymous measurement services run on Vercel. Whenever a website is visited, hosting services process technically necessary network data to deliver and secure the page and investigate faults.
Vercel publishes its own privacy and security information and, where applicable, uses international transfer mechanisms including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
Sharing and retention
Baker's Ratio does not sell data or provide bake-journal contents to third parties. The website currently has no account database, newsletter or contact form.
If you send an email yourself, the information in that message is used only to reply and retained only as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose.
